Help Us Build a Safe Haven for Dogs in Kossuth County 🐾

Kossuth County Tails of HOPE needs your help.

Two and a half years ago, our newly appointed board established specific goals to improve our existing facility and strengthen the services we provide to our community. Through countless volunteer hours, generous community support, and dedicated fundraising efforts, we are proud to have accomplished the following:

• Paid off an inherited $40,000 debt

• Repaired and replaced the backed-up septic system

• Replaced the leaking roof

• Replaced rotting flooring caused by the septic and roof issues

• Installed a heating and cooling system

We are incredibly proud of what our volunteers and supporters have helped us accomplish. However, there is still important work ahead.

Our Next Goals

• Install new windows

• Purchase a rescue vehicle to transport animals to veterinary appointments, support fundraising events, and transport supplies

• Purchase or build a dedicated dog rescue facility

Today, we are reaching out to ask for your help with our most important goal: establishing a dedicated dog rescue facility in Kossuth County.

There are many circumstances in which a family, friend, or neighbor may find themselves unable to continue caring for a dog. In an already difficult situation, knowing there is a safe, secure, and compassionate place where that dog can be surrendered and cared for while waiting for a new forever home can provide tremendous relief.

A dedicated rescue facility would help us provide that resource for our community. It would give families an alternative to leaving animals behind, abandoning them, or placing them in unsafe situations. Most importantly, it would give these dogs a safe place to receive care while we work to find them loving, permanent homes.

The former K9 Forever building has become available, and we would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to purchase the property and transform it into the rescue our community needs.

We cannot accomplish this goal alone.

If you would consider supporting Kossuth County Tails of HOPE as we work toward purchasing this building, your generosity would make a lasting difference for the animals and families of our community. Whether through a financial contribution, business sponsorship, or other form of support, every contribution brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.

Thank you for considering supporting our mission and for believing in the importance of providing a safe place for dogs in need.

With gratitude,

Kossuth County Tails of HOPE 🐾
